This Dodge Pickup has the original 95 HP flathead T142 straight-6, 218ci truck engine. Another 1949 Dodge straight-6 truck engine, the T147, was in fact 108 HP. However, this truck has the T142 straight-6 truck engine which was much less common in 1949 Dodge 3/4 ton trucks than the T147 engine.
